Diver performs a Propeller PolishingPropeller Polishing

Fouled propellers means increased fuel consumption and slower speeds on the open water. Texas Commercial Diving can perform professional propeller polishing in the water to increase the performance of your ship or vessel.

Why should you undergo a propeller polish?

The purpose of polishing the propeller is to reduce fouling of the propeller and provide the highest smoothness to the surface of the propeller for reduced drag, faster speeds and higher fuel efficiency. A smooth surface will prevent marine life from attaching itself to the propeller.

We do it right every time! When a propeller is not polished the right way, the fouling can quickly re-establish itself on a rough propeller and your back to square one. When your ship’s propeller polishing is performed the right way, the overall cost of the polishing will be completely recovered by your fuel savings.

Texas Commercial Diving, Inc uses only the finest polishing discs to polish your propeller to Rubert A on the pressure and suction faces. The roots and hub will be polished to the Rubert B / C rating.

All polishing jobs are photo documented before and after the polishing is performed and are provided to the client in a detailed report. It is possible to view the services live with Texas Commercial Diving’s latest video technology.

You can rely on Texas Commercial Diving to get the polishing job done correctly, safely and efficiently, with the greatest advantages to your vessel and the least impact to our marine environment.
